Dr. Rottman is a Board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist with extensive experience in scientific computing. Dr. Rottman's interests are in the development of web-based graphical user interfaces to facilitate clinical care as well as automated image analysis. He is involved in both database administration (Oracle) and application development (Java).  He has been active in the development of the Pathologist's Workstation and organized and administers the Informatics Seminar series, a weekly seminar/discussion with invited speakers from within Johns Hopkins and the wider medical community.
