Description: Radiation changes. Metaplastic endocervical epithelium with markedly enlarged nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and cytomegaly. There is no significant increase in the nuclear to cytoplasmic (N:C) ratios. Note the prominent cellular pleomorphism, vesicular chromatin, and bizarre cell shapes. The smear background shows marked acute inflammation.
